CamoResinTech started during 2020, when Working from Home became the norm, and the whole world had to go “Contactless”. It was clear that the world was going to have to rely more strongly on technology, and those who had been resistant to use it, found that they had to adapt in order to be able to stay in touch.
The company was started by Michael Hutchinson, after he was having discussions with his wife, Claire. Their entertainment company had been affected by the Global Pandemic, and Claire found herself selling products online to supplement their lost income. In order to stand out from the crowd, and to be able to share her social media links easier (and most importantly contactless), Michael used technology that was already available, but in an innovative and personalised way. The first NFC Resin Keyring had been invented and CamoResinTech was born!
Since then, Michael has found more innovative ways to use this technology, and has found a way to add more functionality to each of the keyrings and accessories that he has been making. His background in Nursing has helped him to come up with an ”Medical Alert” template, which is perfect for people who may suffer from physical or mental health conditions, as a way of relaying important information at a time of crisis. His background in business has helped him to come up with the “Social Media” template and the “Virtual Business Card Template”, as a way of networking contactlessly, without having to spend out lots of money on paper business cards! His love for his family helped him to come up with the “Emergency Contact” template, and his background working within the public sector helped him to develop the “Virtual Storage” Template.
Michael continues to work alongside His web development consultants, PromoNet, to find new ways to use NFC technology, in a way that is easy for anyone to use.
